Jewels in the Crown: The Sounds of Jewish England

In 2020, Kolot HaLev will present for a United States audience a concert honoring the English Jewish choral heritage.
Hear compositions that reflect traditional modes of synagogue music, Spanish and Portuguese music from Amsterdam and Germany as well as English folk songs and modern themes.
The concert wouldn’t be complete without music English Jewry sings today. Therefore, we will sing music by contemporary composers Judith Silver and Julian Dawes.
