Two Interpretations of The Book of Job

Rabbi Robert Saks and Gideon Amir

Saturday Nov. 12, 2016 • 12:45-1:45 p.m. (following services and kiddush lunch)

Rabbi Bob Saks and Bible Scholar Gideon Amir are both fans of Job but  understand it differently. Though the book is one of the most celebrated in  the Bible, its meaning is elusive.  In this panel discussion the two members  of Shirat HaNefesh will each present their views and leave time for you to question and share as well. If you haven’t read Job lately, take a look in  advance at the first and last two chapters, and sample some of the middle. It’ll leave you wanting more!
