Saturday, March 17, 2016 • 6:00 – 7:00 p.m.
Join us at Seudah Shlishit (the third meal) right before Purim for a panel discussion on how and when we share our diverse identities.
How Jewishly identifiable do we feel comfortable being in public? How “out” are we about our sexual identity in different contexts? When and where do we feel most safe sharing about ourselves? Esther revealed her Jewish identity just in the nick of time to save the Jewish people. And her experience is still relevant to today’s world, where issues of identity, “outedness”, and the closet continue to be relevant for all of us.
Followed by Purim megillah reading and celebration.
Matt Adler is the president of Matt Adler Strategies and a member of Shirat HaNefesh.
